Sandra Garza Balderaz, 57, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Trinity Fellowship Church, 5000 Hollywood Road, with Pastor Joab Perdue and Pastor Brent Mitchell officiating. Burial will be held in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Lubbock. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Sandra was born in Brownfield, Texas on October 1, 1963 to Antonio and Susie Garza. She attended Brownfield High School. Sandra married Lou Balderaz at Trinity Fellowship Church on August 14, 2009. She loved to dance and show off that she could do the splits. Sandra loved Jesus and her family fiercely. She was a strong woman and a very hard worker. Sandra loved to cook for her family, and enjoyed traditions during the holidays with her loved ones. She enjoyed her Christian and Tejano music. Most of all Sandra was an amazing woman, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Antonio B Garza; the father of her children, Victor Perez Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Susie Garza of Lubbock; her husband, Lou Balderaz of the home; her three daughters, Susie Jones and husband Trampus of Canyon, Christy Perez of Amarillo, and Clarrisa Perez of Amarillo; her son, Jeffery Perez and wife Sara of Amarillo; two step-sons, Victor Perez and wife Belinda of Ft. Worth, Roman Balderaz and wife Bella of Amarillo; one step-daughter, Liza Perez of Ft. Worth; two brothers, Johnny Garza and wife Toni of Lubbock, Tony Garza of Lubbock; one sister, Lory Ann Ortiz and husband Leo of Ft. Worth; and her beloved 12 grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
