Steven Lee Young

Steven Lee Young 52, of Amarillo passed away June 10, 2022. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on June 15, 2022 at 10 am at Cox Rowley Funeral Home, burial to follow at Llano Cemetery. Steven was born on May 4, 1970 to Curtis and Phyllis Young. He graduated from WT Christian in 1988. Steven loved his family, he would do anything and everything for them. He was a very talented graphic designer. In his free time he enjoyed racing stock cars at Amarillo Speedway, where he was known as “Steve the Gorilla Young”. Steve will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his father Curtis Young and grandparents: Clifford and Bonnie Fleming and Ed and Faye Young.

He is survived by his mother Phyllis; his son Michael Young; Aunt and Uncle Connie and Joe Fritz and a cousin Christi and husband Charley Musick along with many loving friends.
