Tamora Tellez

Tamora Tellez, 51, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Llano East Cemetery. Tamora was born October 12, 1968 to Tommy and Julia Phillips. She graduated from Caprock High School in 1987. She married Luis Tellez in 1988. Tamora worked for Owens Corning for 15 years. In her spare time, Tamora enjoyed riding motorcycles and cooking. She was a huge Michigan Wolverines fan. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Brian Phillips; and a sister, Deborah Phillips. Survivors include her husband, Luis Tellez; a son, Marck Tellez and girlfriend Victoria Dodge of Amarillo; a brother, Michael Phillips of Amarillo; three nieces, Kaleigh Phillips, Ciarra Melendez, and Brianna Sheppard; and three nephews, Hunter Phillips, Bryce Phillips, and Khristian Phillips.
