Twyla Boggs Ross

Twyla Boggs Ross, 53, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday November 18, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday November 17, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Twyla was born on June 28, 1969 in Amarillo to John and Kathy Ross. She attended Caprock High School and worked as a phlebotomist until her retirement. Twyla enjoyed dancing, watching movies and listening to music. She had a particular talent for drawing and was known as a gifted artist. Twyla enjoyed a good BBQ, spending time with her family and giving her children free advice, whether it was wanted or not. She always spoke her mind. Twyla had a special love for butterflies and the movie “Steel Magnolias”.

Twyla was preceded in death by her first husband, Rusty Sain.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Ashley Hetzler and wife, A.J.,  Brittany Ross and Camron Sain; parents, John and Kathy Ross; one brother, James Ross and wife Haley all of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Myja; survivors also include a host of aunts, uncles and extended family and close friends.
